FetishGhost Studio’s current incarnation is in an old 1920’s garage located in Stockton California. Built originally for an old model A Ford… it’s a narrow, old and leaky, badly lit structure, that’s more suited to a plain air artisan than a well kept studio artist. It’s perfect… I totally love it! It’s been well matched with an old vintage Parigon electric kiln in lurking in the root cellar. This combination has been well used to create an eclectic mix of teaware for regional, national, and world markets since 2008.
After a brief taste of soda firing 2009, I’m looking to invest more time and resources in return to atmospheric firings this spring 2010. I’ll be visiting and working in studios throughout Northern California looking to get work in as many different kilns as I can. This will mean a larger pallet of clays, glazes, and surfaces and an even more exciting and dynamic body of work.
